Every year, at the end of the summer, we say “Wow! That really was the BEST summer ever!” Then we say, “OK. Now let’s make it even better!”
We’re on a mission to keep setting and raising the bar for the best summer camp experience possible. Each year we add new elements, activities and programs to improve our camp and keep things new and fresh for returning campers. First-time campers (and parents) are always amazed at how awesome Super Duper Arts Camp is, and we want returning campers to expect that no matter how awesome last summer was, this summer is going to even better.
So, what’s new this year?
New Pick-Up Time - 3:30 pm
Why? We just needed more time to fit in all the fun stuff. We had a choice between adding 30 minutes to our day or giving up on some activities. No Brainer.
We’re thrilled to announce the launch of our new, second Super Duper Arts Camp location at the JCC at Milken in West Hills! It will be the same great Super Duper Arts Camp program that you know, but more convenient for families who live in the Valley, Malibu, Agoura or surrounding areas. If you have friends who live in those areas and have wanted to come to Super Duper, but it’s just too far to drive, let them know! (This is IN ADDITION to our Westside JCC location).
JCITs and campers 3rd grade and up will take a new, exciting field trip each session! Destinations have been carefully selected to represent the aims of our philosophy and the fulfillment of our mission. All trips are designed to be exploratory, educational, engaging, empowering and most of all, fun!

Session 3 - LA Connection Comedy Theatre Session 4 - The GRAMMY Museum
Session 5 - The Beach!
The Super Duper Arts Camp JCIT program offers 7th-9th graders the best of both worlds. They get to be Junior Counselors in Training, building the maturity, responsibility and leadership skills that the next step requires, AND they still get to have all the fun of being a camper, participate in their favorite activities and attend all field trips.
Our new Counselor in Training Program for teens entering 10th grade & up is perfect for teens looking to dive head-first into an action packed summer of fun, learning and personal development. CITs will embark on a transformative journey of learning, growth and maturation as they take the next step on the Super Duper path towards becoming a camp counselor.
Last year we adventured on our first ever Overnight Retreat and it was ridiculously AMAZING. So, this year, we’re going twice. Our retreat is open to JCITs and campers 3rd grade & up and takes place at Camp JCA Shalom in Malibu. Our overnight retreat is a fantastic introduction into the sleep away camp experience
In addition to classic SDAC activities that vary from day to day, our older campers and JCITs will now also have 2 to 3 Specialty classes each week that they’ll have every day to work on a more involved project over the course of the week.

Campers attending for the entire Summer will be ceremoniously inducted into the All-In Crew. All-In Crew members will receive a special acknowledgement of their All-In status and will be invited to attend the 1st annual Super Duper Annual End of Camp Tribunal & Banquet.
